Deciduous Forest

The Deciduous forest is a forest made up of trees that lose their leafs in the winter. They are found in areas with warm summers and mild winters. These forest types are found in the Northern Hemisphere. Like in the eastern North America, East Asia, and Europe. Precipitation is 30-60 inches. Deciduous means to fall of seasonally. The leaves on the forest floor decay over time. The soil is very fertile due to the leaves decomposing into the soil. The main landform is trees.
